Saratoga Foothill Club Historic Landmark Foundation

The Saratoga Foothill Club Historic Landmark Foundation (SFCHLF) was created in 2003 to raise funds for the preservation and maintenance of the Saratoga Foothill Clubhouse and grounds. SFCHLF is a  nonprofit, tax-exempt organization with IRS 501(c)(3) status, allowing tax-deductible contributions from donors.

Since its inception, SFCHLF has raised over $1,500,000 to fund numerous restoration projects faithful to Julia Morgan’s original design. Extensive restorations in recent years have included a new roof, foundation stabilization, pergola renovations, interior woodwork oiling, and a complete exterior restoration.

In 2022 as a result of our adherence to the highest standard of restoration during our Exterior Preservation Project, we were awarded the “Outstanding Restoration of a Building” by the Santa Clara Preservation Alliance.

The SFCHLF is governed by a board of directors composed of members of the Saratoga Foothill Club and of the community at large.

The SFCHLF produces an annual report at the end of each fiscal year.
